Psalm 95:1-5
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all Gods.4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is His also.5 The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands formed the dry land.

I am sure we all sang this popular song when we were children – “He’s got the whole world in his hands”. I hope we have not stopped singing it because we have become adults with money in our bank accounts and property all over the place. The truth in that song is more than one to make children feel good. It was an eternal truth when you had nothing and it will be an eternal truth when you think you have the whole world.

God still has the whole world in His hands and that includes you and everything about you. Do not for any moment think that God has forgotten you because of something you may be going through. We all go through things in this life – rich, poor, tall, short, educated, non-informed. Whatever your status in life, you face life and sometimes ask if God is still there.

He is there more than you can imagine and He has you in His hands like He did when you surrendered your life that day when you prayed and asked Jesus to take over your life. God holds everything you are seeking in this world and He will never withhold anything good from you when you truly need it. He owns everything and you are privileged.

1. Celebrate the God of heaven and earth who owns all you will ever need in your life here on earth.
2. Pray for faith to simply trust Him like a child so you can continue to sing that song.
3. Father, please help me never to forget that You have the whole world in Your hands, including me.

I declare today that God my Father holds everything He has created. My father has everything in control, including the issues that confront me daily. Therefore, I walk in this life not as a victim, but as a victor, knowing that my Father has me in His hands. By this confession, l enjoy great peace in the midst of any storm that may come my way in the name of Jesus.
