Numbers 18:12-13

“All the best of the fresh oil and all the best of the fresh wine and of the grain, the first fruits of those which they give to the LORD, I give them to you. “The first ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to the LORD, shall be yours; every one of your household who is clean may eat it.

If there is one thing that stands out our heavenly Father, it is the undeniable truth that He really cares for His children and all who fear Him. God’s love and care for us is not empty talk like the one we experience from men. Men make big promises and tomorrow they “I am sorry, but something came up and I cannot do as I promised”. When someone says that, what can you say but walk away with some pain and disappointment in your heart. It is not so with our God.

Have you noticed that when God makes promises He does not talk about little things here and there? When God talks about something He wants to do for us, He talks very big, just as He is and He does it big, just as His power is. God is the greatest source anyone can think of. Remember even the promises men make are subject to them receiving from the Lord. If the Lord does not bless the people you are expecting something from, you can say goodbye to their promises. God gives to men to give to you; that’s the pattern.

Truly, all good and perfect things come from the Father of Lights in whom there is no shadow of turning. He is the ultimate Source and all that is in Him are yours by inheritance. Position yourself to receive from God’s never-diminishing source.

1. Celebrate the God from whom all good things come to you, including the ones you received in the past week.
2. Ask for a continually grateful heart so you will never forget to honor the Lord for all He does for you.
3. Heavenly Father, please help me to be a child of gratitude, honoring You in my heart always.

I declare that Jehovah holds all I need for my life. He knows what I need and will not withhold anything good from me. Therefore, I walk in this life with a grateful heart, always acknowledging His goodness and mentioning His name everywhere I go. Indeed, I declare that my God is good and His mercies endure forever.
